Marjeane Caterers’ Open House ~ celebrating
their 30 Year Anniversary and recently completed renovations of their
Award Winning Banquet
Facility.
Gone are the familiar Colonial blue wooden
siding, white windows and blue awnings and brass lanterns. It has been replaced by an
attractive New Look! Classic Beige Stucco and brown Field Stone. The
enhanced lighting features Large Empire Globes.
The inside of the building
has under gone extensive renovations over the past few years to large
Foyer, the Candelite Room and the Garden Room as well.
The day began with a ribbon cutting ceremony and co-owner Jean Lutz gave
tours of her outstanding Facility to prospective Brides and Grooms as Car
Buffs browsed among the great selection of cars.
“We had a great turnout,” said Brian Lutz, who estimated about 400 to 500
people attended the Grand Reopening event. “There were people who said
they’ve lived here all their lives and never knew how beautiful the rooms
where.” For Car Show & Building

Marlin and Jean Wert began Marjeane Caterers out of their home in 1977. As
the Business grew and by popular demand they bought the former T.D. Keyser
Chevrolet Building on South Broad Street in March of 1983 and created the
Outstanding Banquet Center. Marlin and Jean (Marjeane’) retired in 2002
after their daughter Jean and her husband Brian bought Marjeane‘s to carry
on the tradition of excellence.
